30 Days of Kink Day 28

How Do You Dress For Kink/BDSM play? What Significance Does Your Attire Have For You?

I don’t dress up as much as I used to, which is a shame as I love getting dressed up for kink/BDSM. It’s a great way to get in the mood and put the real world behind you for a bit. But it is also too easy to get lazy when it comes to getting dressed up.

Kink wear is a wonderful thing, sadly it’s also a damn expensive one at times, especially as a latex lover. But it’s so worth it for me, it turns me on in a way no other item of clothing ever has before so that alone give it a big significance when it comes to play. And it’s kink of hard to wear latex and not feel sexy. Although I don’t feel like I’ve ever truly mastered the art of getting it on without battling it. (Yes I used lots of talcum powder but the struggle is still very real!)

PVC is another favourite of mine because it’s so easy to get on and off again, and if you’re trying to get to a body part in the heat of the moment then ease of access goes a long way! It’s why I like my fishnet body stocking so much, it looks sexy and it covers absolutely nothing!

I quite like it when my partner dresses up but as a tall and broad guy finding stuff that’s a good fit is not always easy. I’ve found some lovely things in the past that are just that tiny bit too small which is frustrating as hell. I did find him a lovely chest harness for Valentines Day and he looks so sexy in it.

I guess it doesn’t have significance as such but then that might be because my day to day wear can often have a touch of kink to it already and has done for so many years. And I am very guilty of not making an effort to dress up for a while, but then aren’t we all every now and again?

What’s your favourite thing to get dressed up in for play? Let me know in the comments.
