Monthly Round Up July

It’s been a funny old month, restrictions have been further lifted here in the UK and I don’t know how I feel about it. I’m also now struggling to remember what exactly I’ve gotten up to as this month feels like it’s gone on forever and yet also been over in the blink of an eye. Here’s what I’ve been up to.

Stardew Valley

I know I’m just a little late to the game (literally) with this one but I finally brought myself a copy for the PS4 and I cannot stop playing it! It’s taken up quite a bit of this month. I’m now into my second year and having an amazing time with it. I actually prefer it to Animal Crossing since it doesn’t pass in real time and I don’t have to plan my life around it.

Shadow booked us tickets to see the Zoe Wannamaker and Peter Capaldi cast and it was… actually pretty depressing if I’m honest. It’s brilliantly acted and staged and a very clever idea, but if you’re after a romantic date this is probably not going to be the one act play for you.

I booked this one since I thought it would be nice to get out for an afternoon and it had been years since either of us had been. They now have a beautiful nature garden and Shadow even saw some newts in one of the ponds which was probably one of my favourite parts of the day.

I wore it on a date a recently and it is so comfortable, you can check out my full review of it here.
